A member of our hiring team will contact you to schedule an interview.

2. Pre-employment checks

In addition to requesting at least two references from outside sources, we will need to conduct a thorough DBS check on you.

3. Internal assessment

We'll invite you to an assessment day at our office after your interview.

4. Begin your new role

You will have an opportunity to shadow an existing carer while you settle in

As a healthcare assistant, you will be an important part of our team, providing high-quality person-centred support to our service users. You will develop positive relationships with service users and their families using a creative and caring approach.

You will help support a small number of regular clients out and about on a one-on-one basis, usually for a few hours at a time, including leisure activities, appointments, daily chores, and shopping. It is essential that you be able to drive and have your own transportation for these purposes (mileage is paid per mile).

Personal care is provided in clients' homes. This is an enriching role, assisting vulnerable adults with day-to-day living and providing them with the best possible quality of life. In most cases, care assistants assist clients who require round-the-clock care. Shifts can range from one to twenty-four hours, including sleep-ins. It is a requirement of this role that you be able to travel to clients in the community or between residential settings, so having your own transportation is essential.

Experience is preferred but is not a pre-requisite if you are willing to learn and have the compassion and patience required to support. We provide full training and opportunities to progress and we welcome applicants with prior experience and/or healthcare qualifications.
